He proclaims his innocence, and says everything will be cleared out once he gets his day in court.

“I understand that. It’s just hard bro — come on man. You ain’t never been locked down. I don’t wanna see you go through this man. It’s, it’s hard,” a woman replies.

“I understand, I understand, I understand. It’s hard on me too. But I just gotta deal with it. Ain’t nothing I can do till I go to court, till we go to court and find out what the hell is going on,” Miller said to another person.

He brags about having the capacity of hiring a lawyer, and how money is no issue.

According to reports, he resisted first and then sought a gun during the attempted arrest. He then shouted at the officers and begged to be killed, according to the Office of the Osceola County Sheriff.

Baxter had met with three men at Palmway and Cypress Streets in Kissimmee at approximately 9:28 p.m. and then asked for reinforcements, then Sergeant Howard came to assist his partner and heard the shots.

When authorities responded to the scene, they found the two officers with gunshot wounds on their heads and transported them to Osceola Regional Medical Center, where Baxter was pronounced dead and Howard fought for his life until the afternoon of the following day.
