Girl Scouts Beyond Bars

This program allows these young girls with moms in prisons to visit on more personal levels. They spend quality time with their mothers in a room that looks more like a classroom than a prison. And, they get to remain in the program until they turn 18 years old.

The program, which started in 1992 in Maryland, is called “Girl Scouts Beyond Bars.” Time reported that over 150 Lone Star State girls have seen benefits come from the program. These girls are also offered professional counseling sessions.

Girl Scouts Beyond Bars appears to be beneficial to young Texas girls with moms in prisons. There’s no doubt the program has helped reunite broken relationships between prison moms and the prisoners’ daughters.

Why Tweeters Are Jumping All Over Chelsea Clinton

So, why is the Twitter World on fire in response to Chelsea Clinton’s tweet about the program for girls with moms in prisons? Well, many believe her own mother, former-first lady and Secretary of State and U.S. State Senator, Hillary Clinton, is a criminal.

She was dubbed as such by Trump supporters during the 2016 Presidential Election.

Most of it is related to her use of a private email server when she served as the Secretary of State. According to Trump supporters, this allowed her to use an unsecure network to save classified government information. This is a serious crime in the United States.

Yet, Hillary Clinton was never charged.

The Blaze reports:

“Then there is the alleged ‘pay for play’ scheme surrounding the Clinton Foundation, in addition to the general sense of corruption that many believe surround Hillary and her husband, Bill Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States.

Even then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump threatened legal action against Hillary during a presidential debate last year, saying he would appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the email scandal if he were elected president.

‘So we’re going to get a special prosecutor, and we’re going to look into it,’ Trump said. ‘Because you know what? People have been — their lives have been destroyed for doing one fifth of what you’ve done. And it’s a disgrace. And honestly, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.’

Needless to say, people were quick to torch Chelsea over the irony”:
