Did Jodi Arias Have an Accomplice When She Killed Travis Alexander? (Videos)

Famous prisoner Jodi Arias confessed to having an accomplice who gave her a hand in killing Travis Alexander. It was a jailhouse confession made to her former cellmate.

Travis was her former boyfriend, whom admitted to savagely slaughtering.

Jodi Arias Confesses to Murder to Her Cellmate

Jodi Arias dropped the admission to former cellmate, Donavan Bering. To prove that Bering was telling the truth when she told authorities about the jailhouse confession, she submitted to a polygraph test.

Bering says she actually spoke to the accomplice, who told her Jodi seemed to be a crazy woman when stabbing Travis. She was totally maniacal.

Radar reports that to aid investigators, the accomplice’s name had to be withheld.

How Travis Alexander Died

Travis Alexander, a 30-year-old man, was attacked by Jodi while in his Mesa, Arizona home. He was a wealthy businessman, and a Mormon.

Mr. Alexander had earlier ditched Jodi and begun a relationship with another woman. Yet, he could’t seem to leave Jodi Arias alone.

The young man was was butchered:

  • 27 stab wounds
  • A gun shot to his head
  • Throat slit from ear to ear

Jodi was a master manipulator of men. But Travis disappointed her. And she wanted revenge.

In fact, new reports claim that her intention, was to kill Travis’ new girlfriend. But she was not around. She had to pour out her madness by killing Travis instead. Donavan Bering says:

“We were cellmates for six months until I left, and we pretty much have been in contact every day after that.”

Jodi earlier had denied being involved in Alexander’s death. Then, she claimed to have killed him out of self-defense, yet she did not have any injuries on her, except a one cut on her finger.

Originally, the police officers didn’t believe that the killing was done by Arias alone. Now, with the revelation of Jodi Arias’s jailhouse confession, it’s starting to make more sense.

It is now almost 10 years since Jodi was arrested. She is now serving a life sentence in Perryville Prison in Arizona. She, however, works in a warehouse, on a prison job earning 50 cents in an hour.

Radar reports:

“There was an altercation, and [REDACTED] goes running up the stairs,” Bering claimed. “When [REDACTED] got upstairs, [REDACTED] said Jodi was on Travis’ back, stabbing him. But [REDACTED] did it all to protect Jodi and was under the impression the fight was started by Travis.”
