President Trump and Jared Kushner will meet with Rapper Kanye West on Thursday, October 11. They plan to discuss gang violence and prison reform in Chicago.
Many people on Twitter are making speculations. They believe that it’s no coincidence that Kanye is meeting with Trump right after Nikki Haley’s UN Ambassador resignation.
They are insinuating that the President may be thinking about replacing her with the Hip Hop rapper.

Meeting Agenda of President Trump & Kanye West
Kanye West and President Trump are expected to meet for lunch where Kushner is set to join them. Kushner is Trump’s son-in-law and his senior adviser. Some of the items they will be discussing include:
- Strategies to reduce/eliminate gang violence
- How to stop Chicago gang violence
- Prison reform in the US
In a report by the New York Times, Kanye West said he is looking toward creating jobs in his hometown of Chicago.
Rapper Kanye West is known to be a Trump supporter. He has supported him ever since his 2016 election. Last week, West was spotted wearing a cap that read 'Make America Great Again' (MAGA) during a performance on Saturday Night Live.
Comedians have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts. Many Black Americans have lost even more respect the Hip Hop star since he told the world he wants to "amend" the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery in the US.

What to Expect From the Meeting from the Trump-West Meeting
Kanye West’s meeting with President Trump is not something that sits well with everyone. He has been criticized for his unwavering support of President Trump.
It is not clear whether the meeting will bring forth any changes to the criminal justice system. Jeff Sessions, US Attorney General, set his orders on mandatory minimum sentences. He also set up extremely harsh sentencing policies.
That makes it hard to initiate any type of prison reform with Trump. However, West has vowed to give it a try.
Kim Kardashian’s Meeting at the White House
Jared Kushner and President Trump, earlier this year, met with West’s wife Kim Kardashian-West. Kushner is the head of the prison reform project on behalf of President Trump.
Kardashian worked with Kushner on some prison reform strategies.
The reality TV star requested clemency for Alice Johnson during her meeting with President Trump at the White House. Johnson was serving a life sentence for a non-violent drug crime she committed.
She was granted clemency by the President after Kim’s request in June this year. On Tuesday, Kim K told E! News that her husband's ambitions make her proud. She supports his meeting with Trump full-heartedly, saying:
He has a really focused mission of what he wants to talk about, and I think the White House is really receptive to his ideas.
